Documentary Nujabes: An Eternal Soul
Last year I (and a lot of other Nujabes-musiclovers) was shocked by the news that Nujabes, a Japanese hiphop producer/dj, didn't survive a traffic accident. He's known for his hiphop combined with jazzy sounds. Some songs are so atmospheric and relaxing that you can almost smell the blooming flowers by hearing the gentle sounds that the keys of the piano produces. He's also known for the soundtrack of anime Samurai Champloo.
Now Abe Spiegel made a documentary 'An Eternal Soul' about Nujabes. This documentary will show some interviews with artists that were directly influenced by him. I don't know when this documentary will come out, but click here or go to nujabesdocumentary.tumblr.com for the updates.
With this documentary a special album was composed containing original pieces of music created by artists all around the world. You can listen to this album for free. Just go to wordisbond.bandcamp.com/album/an-eternal-soul-ost
