Sand art by soundwaves

Creating art by using soundwaves? Huh?

Artist Kenichi Kanazawa has been filmed while he was creating sand art by the vibrations of sound. He just puts some colored sand on a table and grabs a special stick which he taps and glides over the table. By tapping, he creates really noisy soundwaves, that even the tiniest sandgrain on his table jumps up and down with excitement.

Caution: Turn down the volume first,  if you want to see this video.
