Tweet and get a cookie
I guess people were surprised when they suddenly saw a strange white box in the school. Designers of the Umeå Institute of Design (UID) created the UID Cookie Box. "The cookie box was created out of a desire to give something to people at the school. 50% social experiment, 50% unexpected behaviour and 50% cube equals 150% deliciousness!"
It looks like a sci-fi cookie jar, but now you have to do something to get a cookie.
When you want a cookie, you have to look at the box and then something will appear on the display. Then you'll read what to tweet. And then, then a cookie comes out of it. Cool. OK, there are greedy people in this world, and real cookiemonsters who just want to eat more than one cookie. Beware, cookiemonsters, because the box is designed to prevent monsters to get more cookies. It will not push out another cookie if you already tweeted within five minutes. Instead it will blink red as a sign you should slow down. Hmm, I'm not that patient, to wait what to tweet, tweet and to be rewarded with just one cookie...I'd rather go to the supermarket nearby, buy a whole pack of oreos, just for myself..jummy...
Anyway, check out the video below for a demonstration.
