This octopus massagetool sucks!
I don't know about you, but when you were a little kid, did you ever have an aunt who kissed you on your cheeks in a way that more felt like she's sucking or squeezing your skin off your cheeks? Well, it doesn't seem to be bad for your health. Not if I must believe the Iyashi Octopus Sucker Massage.
OK, this is a massage tool that kind of works as the aunt described above. It's a glove with little suckers on it. Slide in your hand and massage your face, back, neck or other parts of the body. It seems to have an acupuncture suction effect, because the suckers pull on the skin. And this might help improving the blood circulation and the flow of water in your skin. Hmm, interesting tool if you don't want to spend a lot of money on real acupuncture sessions or if you're tired being kissed by an old aunt.
Iyashi Octopus Sucker Massage costs $73 (that's about €68) at japantrendshop.

Show off your musical talent, play on a catcordion!
OK, if playing on a piano, keyboard or an accordion is too boring for you. But have the urge to show your musical talent, why not playing on a Catcordion?
Say what? Playing on a cat! OK, I don't mean your own cat, but the special Catcordion made by SERGETHEW. Yup, four cats voluteered to hold a keyboard. For example grumpy cat (for real). Especially for you! Nice!
The cats hold the same keyboard, so don't expect another sound. About the sound, press on a key and you'll hear a typical Catcordion sound. I've said enough, you should try it out. Go to this website catcordion.sergethew.com to play on the Catcordion.

Rest your wrists on bootylicious mousepad
Ladies, don't we hate it, when we mostly see anime merchandise of typical female characters with big uhm.. bodyparts? Cushions of an anime girl with big balloons. Or with a superhuge buttocks? Bleh! Why not such merchandise for us, ladies? Guess what, I've found one! Bootylicious mousepads with male anime character! Whoehoew!
So ladies, finally we can rest our arms on butts too! And if we have a moment of stressing or burning out, squeeze it! These guys don't mind, eheh... OMG, now I feel like a perv.... Definitely a nice unique mousepad, right?

Geeky,
Girly stuff
Sweaty feet? Wear fans on your shoes!
Don't you think it's annoying when you're walking at a place where it's coincidentally supersilent and you hear flitsch-flatsch-flitsch-flatsch. Each time you step forwards. Or when you almost slide out of your shoe? Or when you take of your shoe and you smell something unwashy. OMG, sweaty feet!
Well, if you reaaally hate your sweaty feet, you might like this: the USB Sokai Shoes Cooler. It's a little fan which you can hitch to the front side of a shoe. So no more sweat, because it sends fresh air to the inside. The fan costs ¥1,980 (that's about €14).
Hmm, pretty cool solution or not? Or you can just keep wearing your flipflops.. always a right solution right?

ACUWAKE, tickling wakeup call socks
Don't you hate it getting up early in the morning to go to work/school. And the next morning you find out that you overslept. Stupid alarmclock didn't ring (too loud). Or you were having a pleasant dream about Lee Min Ho and just didn't want to get up. An alarmclock can be annnoying but you can easily turn it off. Hmmm, maybe this new invention will help to get up much faster: ACUWAKE.
The ACUWAKE is a pair of socks that buzzes you awake in a gentle fashion. The socks has micro vibrators in it, which is good too for your heart, spine and intestine. And because it tickles it wake you up too. Ulgg, it seems annoying to me too, but if it helps me getting up easier.... What do you think, would you try a tickling sock?

Plug it in your nose and get electricity
The only thing I 'plug in' my nose are my fingers (and don't say ieeeww, because everybody does that). But guess what, now design studio ekoD Works created something else to plug in your nose. Or well, they've created a multifunctional nose where you can plug in your plug.... to get electricity!
Don't worry. You don't have to use your own nose. Check out the Hanaga Tap! Now you can transform your boring outlets into noses sticking out of the wall! How cool is that!
The nose is available in three colors: pink, black and white. It costs $35 (about €25). Click here for more info.

OMG, you haven't seen the Kung Fury trailer yet?
You should watch it:
This trailer is a Kickstarter video for a yet to be made over-the-top action comedy. With it's foundation in 80's cop movie and completed with synth sounds, Hitler, Rambo bandanas, Vikings, 80's streetfashion and Miami skyline.
To tell you the truth, it looks so silly it's hilarious!! While watching and saying OMG, it's a good laugh.
I'm not sure if I can sit through the whole movie. Though it's a paradise for 80's kids. The crew needed some extra money for special effects so they started a crowdfunding project. But since the video gone viral they have more donations than they could have expected. So maybe this will be a new blockbuster?

Transform your fish into sushi
Forget Transformers (well, I’ve already forgotten them after seeing the first Transformers movie ulgg..) and check out Gyakusaisei Motomodoru Sushimodoru!
Yup, if you’re a sushi freak, then this might be a nice gift for Christmas. Bandai introduced these fish (and egg and cucumber ). They can transform into sushi! How cool is that!
There are five pieces:
Tuna sushi → Tuna
Ikura sushi → Salmon eggs
Squid sushi → Squid
Kappa-maki → Cucumber
Tamago sushi → Egg
Unfortunately it's not edible. Anyway, one piece is 200 yen (that's about € 1,40). Mmmm, hungry....

Stressed out? Wear the USB Buru-Buru Helmet!
Aaarghh, don't we all have those days that you just want to go home immediately, lock yourself up in your room, all curtains closed, and watch The Heirs dorama, with a box of chocolate. Just because you're tired and totally stressed out. In reality it sometimes isn't really a good idea to act that way. Wouldn't it be nice if there's something that can reduce your stress? Well, maybe the USB Buru-Buru Helmet can help.
Yup, this helmet is a real head massager with stimulating pressure points in it. It seems to heal your tiredness and stress. The helmet costs ¥2,980. So, that's about € 21,39. Hmm, maybe they should offer these helmets (during exam period) at school or at work. Wouldn't that be nice... seeing all your classmates and collegues with this helmet, totally zen.

Knitted beards, hot or not?
I just saw a random thing in an online shop, a hat with a beard. Knitted.
Yes. But... What the...... why??! Okay so let's say you want a temporarily warm beard and you don't have the time to grow one. Or you want to be macho looking while walking on the streets... (This all is also for girls, because of the promo pic below). And it does looks handy when you want to eat something but don't wanna catch a cold.
Beardo makes winterhats with a beard. And if you're not satisfied with only a beard, some come with a bendable mustache too! They look funny, but... I am wondering if people really would wear this everyday?
I prefer men with real beards hehehehehe
What do you think of the Beardo hats? Would you wear it?

Tachikawa's Manga Park: a real manga library
Imagine this. You're entering a huge building. Suddenly you realize that you're surrounded with books everywhere. OK, so what? It's a library. So? Yes, it's a library full of manga, manga and manga. Just manga! Yup, this manga library opened last month in Tokyo.
It seems to be a manga heaven, for kids and adults. The library has almost 30.000 volumes on shelves of all genres for all ages. There’s also a special display area in which visitors can learn – in both Japanese and well-written English – about the history of manga and some of the first known titles.
You can relax with your manga in comfortable areas. They have small cubbyholes with padded cushions, with small desks and built-in lights that turn on automatically as you enter. If you're thirsty you can grab a drink (they even have beer). Hungry? Just go to the seperate dining area 'Manga Cafe' and eat jummy home cooked curry and rice, takoyaki octopus dumplings, ramen and edamame beans.
Unlike other libraries, you don't have to become member. Just pay 400 yen (€3,07) and you can sit here all day. I think it's like a manga cafe, but bigger.
So next time I set foot on Tokyo, I'll visit this place too (omg, my to-do list is getting soooo long, that I might need six months to visit everything...)

OMG, is that a plant growing out of your book?!
Books sooo old that a plant is growing out of it? Uhm, not really with these books. Nope the Green Story books are not that old. It's a gardening book! This is a series of five pop-up books. Open the book and you'll see little cute areas to grow cress or other simple plants. It's a nice cute present for kids.... and grown-ups. This plantbook is about €40. Hmm, pretty expensive for a book. Maybe I should just buy a big plant And a book...
Anyway, if you're interested you can click here for more info.

No pantie.. uh worries, Hentai Kamen is here!
I had to laugh soo much when I saw the commercial for the new upcoming Japanese movie HK Hentai Kamen (lit. Pervert Mask). Check it out:
So this movie is based on a manga and is about a student who suddenly got into trouble. To save himself and a girl, he had to disguise and accidentally put on a pair of panties instead of a mask.
Armed with panties, a mankini and fishnet stockings he transforms into a real superhero and uses his power and perversion to defeat the criminals and to save the girl.
Check out the trailer here:
Release date of this movie will be on April 13 in Japan. I wish it will be soon online or in cinemas here!
It looks really funny. And I am especially anticipating it since Shun Oguri is one of the writers of this movie!

Let fluffy Mocoro clean your house
Is it a cushion? No. Is it a mini-pouf? No. Is it just a fluffy toy? Nope. Meet Mocoro! Yup, this fluffy ball is alive... well, kind of.... It moves! And Mocoro isn't just a ball to beautify your interior or whatever. Mocoro is functional! Yes, this little cutie ball is actually a vacuum cleaner.
It will roll around your room picking up dust and dirt. Mocoro has an internal timer. This way it will roll and clean around every fifteen minutes. When your floor is clean, you just have to slip off the mop and wash it.
There are three colors available: pink, green and orange.
Hmm, even though this fluffy ball looks so cute, I wouldn't recommend you to hug it, just leave Mocoro alone and let him/her vacuum your room :)

Wear your favorite jummy snacks
Ieeewww! What the.... what's that around your neck? Sausages? Yup, you'll definitely see a lot of people staring (maybe disgusted), when you wear this necklace. A sausage necklace! Of course it's not real! It's just a plastic sausage. Just like other accessories of Japanese company 'Fake Food Hatanaka'.
Yup, now you can wear your favorite jummy food. How cool is that! Some of the items look soooo real, that you almost have to force yourself NOT to lick the items. Besides wearable items, Fake Food Hatanaka also offer a lot of other stuff: magnets and a lot of food displays. But I like the hair accessories. Check out some of the items here. Or click here to go to the website of Fake Food Hatanaka.

Brain-controlled headphones by Neurowear
OK, first they invented cat-ears for humans to wear. Ears that can move really cute by using your brainwaves. Then they've introduced brain controlled tails. Wear this tail and everybody can see when you're feeling excited. And now Japanese company Neurowear came up with their newest invention: Brain Wave-Sensing headphones!
Say what? Yup, it's Mico! This is a new type of headphone that plays with your brainwaves too. The headphones are connected to a sensor that rests on your forehead. This way it measures your brainwaves, so it will sense your mood. And then it will automatically play music on a special app, that matches your mood. So, get mooore excited by hearing Lee Min Ho singing, or increase your depression by listening to Akon.... in the future. For now the special app has about 100 tracks. But I think they will put more tracks in the future. Check out the video, for a short explanation.

The worlds tiniest cutest cellphone
OK, this man on the picture is NOT holding a toy-phone, because it actually works. And NO, he is NOT a giant either. Nope, the man is holding the smallest and lightest cellphone ever!
Recently Japanese company Willcom introduced the Phone Strap 2. With a tiny screen of 1 inch, it's just as small as a box of Tic Tacs! You can't do much with it, than just using the basic cellphone features. So you can't watch videos on JUMItube or visit JUMI. But you can call (duh), sms and send an e-mail with it. Definitely a phone for someone who doesn't need all that app crap.
This cutie phone will be available in pink and black. It's a limited edition, because the company will only make 12,000 pieces of it. So if you're interested, fly to Japan now!

Sit on my neighbor Totoro
Totoro. I still think he's sooooo cute. If he really was my neighbor I would ring his door bell a hundred times a day. And ask him if I just could sit or lay down on his big belly for a minute or two, or three, or three thousand or more. No, no, no! I'm not crazy! What would you do? I bet you definitely would do the same, right?
Well, if he isn't your neighbor either, you still can simulate this situation... Yes, check out this Totoro sofa! This one-person sofa is made of soft polyester and nylon. And it costs about 267,51 Euros. Jump, sleep, punch, do whatever you want with your own Totoro. Now you don't have to stalk the real one anymore ^_^ Click here for more info.
