Guinness Record Synchronized Mascot Dancing

And the winner isssss..... Japan! For what? Synchronized Mascot Dancing. Not just plain sports mascots or whatever, but those from prefectural and city government! Say what? Yup, a lot of cities in Japan have a cute mascot called yuru-kyara. They promote tourism and local products of a city.

Anyway, last week 141 (!) of these cute mascots gathered in Sasebo to set the record for synchronized dancing. It's kind of hard (imagine having a huuuuge heavy head and tiny arms) so they didn't succeed immediately, but on the third try. Ah well, who cares. It's nice to see those cuties all dance together, right? Check out the performance, here at JUMI!
