Review: Honey Liquor Beauty Mask by MISSHA

 

Today I tried out the beauty mask Pure Source Sheet Mask by Korean brand MISSHA (did you know Lee Byung Hun starred in their commercial?).

So, this is a sheet mask made of pure cotton and will leave your skin all moisturized and glowing. There is real honey extract in it as well as some other botanical extracts and oils. Also there is Alcohol in it and perfume. I am not a real fan of alcohol in beautyproducts for skin because of my neverending list of allergies. But I tried it anyway.

As soon as I opened the package, a glass filled with Honey Liquor hitted my freshly washed face.
You can smell the honey, it was great and real. But it's also drenched in alcohol which is a letdown for me.

As a true JUMI, I let nothing get in my way while testing. So I manned up and put the sheet mask over my face. It fitted well and you can adjust the eye parts.The sheet mask felt nice and easy to hold. Because of the cotton, it also has a touch of luxury. Like it's saying "I'm not a cheapass paper mask you know".  
Suprisingly my skin didn't whine and absorbed the honey mask quietly.

After 15 minutes, I took off the mask and my skin was really looking nice and moisturized! Wow!
There is also a lot of the essence left in the package which you can use for your neck. Or as an air refreshener.

I loved the result very much! But the alcohol fragrance was a little too strong.
I am sure MISSHA has some alcohol-free products. Will buy them when I am in Korea!
