Don't we looove watching Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro and other Studio Ghibli classics? The cuteness, sweetness and beauty of the animated characters... Totally love it! I'm not the only one, because now some fans have recreated some of the classics into more 'serious' artwork, pictures I mean.
Now I'm less enthusiastic about the pictures. The human characters look too realistic to me. Yes, good job! But I don't love them at all. If I haven't seen the movies, I wouldn't watch it, if the characters would look like that. Too serious, too dark, too mature.... I've seen a couple of serious fanart of Studio Ghibli classics.
