Obsessive fans should call the iAA
OK, we all know what the AA is (and I don't mean the orange drink). But have you ever heard of the Idol Addicts Anonymous?
Huh? Yup, this is a special hotline for fans who are a bit toooo much fan of an idol. I can understand if you're a big fan of Lee Min Ho (having a poster lying next to you in your bed) or Lee Byung Hun (kissing his face on your computer screen when he appears)... ahum... But sometimes you can go a bit too far with adoring your idol. Ask yourself these questions:
Have you ever lied to go to an idol event?
Do you buy the same idol merchandise again and again?
Have you ever surprised an idol, then gotten scolded for it?
Have you had to borrow money to pay for your habit?
Have you gotten in a fight with someone important due to an idol?
If you would say yes to one of these questions, then you can call the hotline and talk about how to have a better life-idol balance. The Idol Addicts Anonymous line states that 'idols should be enjoyed in moderation.'
This is a hotline in Japan. But maybe we'll see this service in the future everywhere.
