Happy 2014!

My oh my, 2013 goodbye! It was a busy but fun year with many excursions. Little Jumi traveled to Hong Kong and Tokyo. And in our little country she (and we) enjoyed some excursions too. Together we went to the International Filmfestival Rotterdam and Camera Japan.

Like last year we kept watching doramas. Unfortunately, this year we couldn't find many nice, refreshing ones. But we did love Cheongdamdong Alice and the Heirs (of course, of course eheh). Hopefully we'll see more interesting doramas in 2014. If you have suggestions of new doramas we really should watch, please let us know!

Anyway, enough dorama. This year we've also posted some interesting items for the guys! Muscleless men can now wear shirts with muscle pads sewn in it. So you can show off your muscles without working out. And there are Hello Kitty undies.... for men! And bras, panties, sexy lingerie for men!

Yes, in 2014 we will keep you updated about girlie and non girlie stuff, excursions, jummy and weird stuff!

We wish all our readers a happy, sweet and cheerful 2014!

Jummyornot: Champagneballs

Hm. I should have made a photo of the balls displayed in a luxurious crystal bowl.
In Holland we have some traditional snacks, like for example the kroket and frikandel. These two are actually a tradition for every day. At lunch or dinner, at home or out, anywhere will do. Make sure they are Dutch, those are the best. I love these two and I believe in these kind of traditions strongly... hehe.
But we also have some Dutch snacks especially for the holidays.

For New Years Eve it's oliebollen. Oliebollen are like fried doughballs. You can compare them with donuts without an hole (uuhh.. this sounds gross or is it just me?). You can get them with or without raisins. Add some powdered sugar on top of it and you are done! PS. If you bake them yourselves with a little bit of beer added to the dough, they are baked excellent. Very soft and tasty.

Now there is something new! Oliebollen made with champagne.
I got this from the local bakery. They are a bit smaller and very soft. They have no raisins.
Well, this is maybe something especially for the ladies! These "champagnebollen" or champagneballs, whatever you want to name them, are tasting very sophisticated. Almost like you're lunching together with Carrie and Samantha somewhere in a new fancy cafe in Manhattan!
The balls are sugared, but not too much! Very thoughtful of the bakery for the dieting girls between us!
You can taste the champagne very lightly, I like these very much.

Yes! This shot is doing them more justice! :)

Well, just a few hours to go and we finally get to countdown for 2014!!

We all know that Hello Kitty isn't just for girliegirlies. We've seen her before as a Teenage Mutant Hello Kitty and she even turned into Terminator. Now it's time to meet Hello Kitty as Mech KT519!

Aaron Liu, designer and toy creator (Hong Kong) introduced the 'Kitty Intelligence' Hello Kitty Robot Custom. He made this tough Kitty. Aaron has created, besided the Mech KT519, a series of original model works of modified plastic parts. But I totally love this Hello Kitty Robot!

If the Hello Kitty creepers weren't your type of shoes, and prefer cuter ones, then maybe you'll like these!

Japanese shoe brand Randa introduced limited edition cuties shoes. See Hello Kitty cutely peeking over the toes. Yes, even the colors are cute...

Randa has two different Hello Kitty shoes. The sneaking Hello Kitty loafers, with Kitty embroided on it. This one is available in three different colors: white, beige and denim. A pair is ¥6990 (that's about €49). Hmm, don't wear them when it's raining...

If you're a Hello Kitty cutie diva, then the Hello Kitty's ribbon sling back pumps might be something for you. Hello Kitty's face is showing more subtle on these high heels. On the inside and ah... of course one version has Hello Kitty all over the shoe. There are four different colors availabe. These pumps are ¥7490 (about €52).
