EE's Gungdungsong... what the ee

Uhh, what the EE? Nope, I'm not trippin'. Not in a bad trip. Maybe a bit scared when I watched this colorful music video of EE. So maybe a little bad trip while I was sober..

What the EE.... So first you get hypnotized by all the moving colors. So you think 'what the ee'. Then a creepy woman with a creepy face pops up... What the ee. And you hear a clownish melody. Ee. Clowns creeepyyy!!

So this mv is not really my cup of tea. But if you're ready to get in the mood to get all ee and trippy, you should check it out, here at Jumi!

Don't be shy and watch Primary's new music video

Ieek, it's like watching the Craft. Doing spiritual stuff with the Ouija board, creepy dolls floating, ghost under a white sheet (oh no, is it Primary turned into a ghost?) and pokemoncards (?). Yup, these are the ingredients of the new music video of Primary ft. Choa of AOA & Iron with the song Don't Be Shy (아끼지마).

Totally looove the music of Korean artist Primary. Now he worked together with two artists to create this new magical song. It's a bit different than I'm used to hear from Primary because of the reggae beats. But with the combination of the singer, it doesn't give it a too tropical taste. Ah well, maybe it's because of the video. Yet, this is another song that I really love. The song isn't about creepy stuff or horror. But about daring. Dare to take steps to uhm.... do lovely stuff with someone you like.

And the music video isn't really scary too. So please watch it. The only thing I don't like is....*spoiler alert* A cute pink bunny will be burnt at the end of the video. Noooooo whhyyyyy!!! Anyway, I still love the song.

Check it out, here at Jumi!

Omg, Miffy Zombie a new horror movie?

Ok, we've seen Hell Kitty and the Carebear from hell. So it was a matter of time to see our cute Dutch bunny Miffy totally flipping out in a bad way, a really really bad way. And it was all documented in the new trailer of Miffy Zombie by Gun N Cult.

So, I wonder if you would still think Miffy is cute. Imagine this: a army of hundred mean Miffies running after you, thirsty and hungry for blood... your blood. They already killed 6000 people. Aaaahhhh! Well, it all took place in Hong Kong. Luckily a group of brave young people are fighting back to save Hong Kong from an apocalypse. Check out the trailer, here at Jumi!

Of course the movie trailer isn't real. Too bad, couldn't wait to see the other side of Miffy in a full movie

Yui must relive the horrors that took place there 10 years ago and find the truth hiding in the home. Ieeeekkkk! Can't wait to have more nightmares!

Pop-Up stuffed animal Butcher shop in Hamburg

I must say, little JUMI didn't like the fact that a new butcher shop has been opened... well, didn't like.... she was shocked seeing the pictures! Uhm.. it's a stuffed animal Butcher shop. Say what?

Recently Galerie x-pon-art located in Hamburg (Germany) has opened an exhibition "Auf_Hängen". This includes a pop-up butcher shop of artist Miroslav Menschenkind.

He really doesn't exclude one animal. He chops cute teddy bears, decapitate sweet fluffy dogs, grinds lovely monkeys in sausage grinders. Ieeek! Real horror for Little JUMI :(

If you're a horror freak, you can visit the butcher shop till March 2, 2014. Click here for more info.

Creepy nice! Sculptures made of old toys

Remember when you were younger. And had many toys, incomplete, broken, ugly... Just not playable anymore... What did you do? Did you throw them away? If not, maybe the artwork of Freya Jobbins will give you some recycling ideas!

Yup, artist Freya re-used plastic parts of toys (and dolls) to create creepy but nice sculptures! What to do with the hair of ugly Barbies? Create a beard! With hands of stupid dolls? Create a head! Creepy but cool huh.

Villains having a campout

Who said that bad guys, villains and scary icons are having a bad day, all day. Doing bad things, every day... Guess what, I've found a sweet picture of bad guys having a good day!

Truck Torrence illustrated a beautiful campout with them. This is a print for Gallery1988 'Say Hi To The Bad Guy'. How cute! Do you recognize them all?

Devil baby riots NYC

For an upcoming horrormovie a prank was made as promotion. The prank is hilarious!! And well made! Check it out:

The babyrobot looks so real! And how he roams his pram through the streets of Manhattan with his little middlefinger up, awesome! Would you be scared if you saw this? Actually the main question would be, are you anticipating the movie. But I think the prank surpasses the preview of the movie, don't you think so?

Cuddle chicken skin teddy

So you think that all teddy bears are soooo cute, that you automatically want to cuddle? Well, check out this teddy bear: Chicken skin teddy!

Hueh? Yup, artist Victor Ivanov created the teddy. Hmm, well you can definitely see that poor teddy is shivering. OK, even if he doesn't look too cute with his goosebumps (maybe a bit too scary) do you want to cuddle poor teddy. It might warm him up, right?

OMG headless bear becomes lamp

Our little JUMI-member/model (yup, the girl on the black/white pic on the right side) almost got a heart attack when she saw this: a Teddy Bear Lamp!

No, not because she wants to have this lamp, but it looks soooo creeepy! Poor teddybear lost his head. I don't know how, and I don't want to know how. And now someone screwed a light bulb (instead of his head) on the body! Some think it's a cute gadget for kids. Well, I think it's creepy. Luckily this teddy lamp is pretty expensive. It's about €145. Hmm, maybe that's good... less teddy bear victims...

What do you think of this lamp? Cute or creepy?

The perfect wedding cake 'Till Death Do Us Part'?

This morning I saw a tv-show 'Four Weddings', where four brides compete for a dream honeymoon by giving the best (unique) wedding. Uhm, unique... not really, when I saw the wedding cakes. They all look the same. Boring white. Well, they would definitely earn some points if they served something different, a non-boring wedding cake.

Well, a couple in the US, served something different. Definitely an unique looking cake. The cake really shows how much the couple love each other... well in their own way. Hmm, I think they would get a lot of points for their wedding cake, right? What do you think?

OMG butcher Chop Shop sells human hands?

It's almost Halloween, so stores are packed with Halloween stuff, pumpkins, masks, candy skulls. Recently discount store Europris (Norway) came up with something interesting: human body parts! Say what?

Look in their freezers and you'll see hands wrapped up in plastic. With nutritional information stickers (very important)! The human hands are from a butcher 'Chop Shop'....

OK, before we get hatemail. These human hands are just plastic! It was just to get customers into the Halloween mood. But instead of getting them into the mood, the store received hatemail. Of course some moms with children responded uhm... not very happy.

So eventually Europris put the Chop Shop away and 'apologized for their failed creepy joke, adding that their intention was not to upset customers, especially the children.'

Hm, I wonder how they would react if they would go to the bakery in Thailand that sells edible feet, hands, heads and more (fake of course). They'll probably get a heart-attack...

Eat your heart out

Eek!!? Halloween is coming soon and I want to give you some inspiration for an horrific Halloween Party :) How about some fingerfood as appetizer, tummy gourmet as the main dish and skulls like these for dessert! Or a delicious slice of that face above. Yup these heads and skulls are actually yummy!

this skull is made of chocolate!

Wounds cupcake set

These freaky cakes and chocolates are made by Eat Your Heart Out, a collective of UK based food artists. They make decomposed body parts completely out of chocolate and turn cakes into human heads (or is it the other way around...............?). Anyways, I think they are brilliant and making me crave for just one lick of that skull. Maybe 2.  Okay 4.

Eat Your Heart Out will have an Halloween pop up cake shop in London from October 25 - 28, 2013.
Find it at The Rag Factory in Brick Lane (16-18 Heneage St, London).

puss in cakes

Try their interactive maggot extraction cupcakes which allows you to remove the mango flavoured maggots and puss before devouring. Damn this sounds so ewie awesome!!! I wish I could go to their shop! :(

They also have these in case of a Break up party. Hahaa

Do we have any JUMI's in the UK? I would love to see more of this pop up shop!
Please share us your stories.

OMG, Hello Kitty turned into a caterpillar

It looks like the sweetest, cutest kitty turned into the creepiest insect: a caterpillar! Ieeekkk! Or not?

Oh no, it's just an annoying wannabe Hello Kitty. Yup, this little creep turns into a Chinese Bush Brown butterfly (Mycalisis gotama). He (or she) thinks he's this cute kitty because of it's kitty-ish ears and kitty shaped face. Yuck, I've seen many wannabe Hello Kitty's, but this one... Nope, this one can never be as sweet and cute as the real one.

OMG! Sadako works at Lotteria restaurant?

Last time we've posted about a special edition of 'the Ring milkshake' at Lotteria restaurant. A superscary drink to promote the new creepy horror movie Sadako 3D2. Well, the promo didn't end here. Nope, now Sadako joined the Lotteria crew! Yup, she decided to work here! Say what?

I think Sadako got tired working at the hairsalon. Hmm, well, I can imagine. She can't see anything with all that hair in front of her eyes. Then she worked at the factory. Hmm, maybe too dangerous for her, with her annoying long hair. And now Sadako made 'her appearance behind the LOTTERIA cash registers.'

Yes, Sadako promoted her special milkshake. Now these creepy drinks are on 50% off-sale to mid-September. Ieek.. Ulgg... I wonder if the restaurant will have more customers now....

Don't get lost in Super Scary Labyrinth of Fear

OK, next time I set foot on Japan, I'll definitely visit the birthplace of one of JUMI's members: the mini-member/model (see black and white pic at the right side). Which place? The Yamanashi prefecture. Why? To get totally lost in a labyrinth, at the Fuji-Q Highlands amusement park: The Super Scary Labyrinth of Fear!

I thought nothing can scare me, not one single haunted house, labyrinth or whatever. But when I saw a short video of it.... ulggg.. Ieeekk! I even didn't finish the video, because iiiieeeeek!

This labyrinth 'has been considered the most terrifying horror house in Japan for over a decade'. This attraction is soooo popular that they only allow 1500 visitors per day. Waiting times can exceed two hours (!). And don't think you can easily walk fast through this labyrinth. No, no, the length of time to complete is about 50 minutes.... OMG.

Am I overreacting? NO. Check out the scary video here. Click on 'movie' at the bottom of the website.

New Happy Horror Meal

Who said that a Happy Meal can only make a kid happy? Well, now I've found a Happy Meal that makes me happy! Newt Clements came up with some unique Happy Meal Boxes featuring some of the uhhh... happiest films!

Wouldn't it be a surprise if your mom ordered and served a Happy Meal box with possessed Reagan as a toy (yup, the girl from The Exorcist). Well, it definitely would be a big surprise. There are a lot of other designs from Godzilla, Resident Evil, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and more.... less scary boxes, such as Little House on the Prairie.

Too bad that they don't have it for real at the Mac....

Don't choke on this dangerous drink: the Ring milkshake

Guess who's back. Sadako! The scariest long-haired girl I've ever seen. We have to wait a month (to be more precisely, August 30) for the release of Sadako 3D 2. (Or well, we, I mean in Japan. Too bad that there isn't an official promo release in the Netherlands.)

Last year, she, yup Sadako, promoted her first movie. On the streets and even at the hair salon. And I guess the minister of Environment really loooves Sadako (or scared?...), because this year the Ministry 'has named Sadako an official summer mascot and is even working together with Japanese burger chain Lotteria to promote the sequel. How? Well, from July 27 Lotteria will offer a superscary milkshake based on the Ring. It's ghostly blue, just as the dress of Sadako and the 'topping of chocolate sauce and black straw are meant to conjure the ghost girl's signature jet-black hair.'

Hmmm, do you dare to drink this milkshake. Hm, I don't. I think I would die drinking it, not because I'm scared... well, maybe a bit... scared of getting poopy sickness because of the milk :(

Survive Resident Evil for 'real'

I looove horror. Watching horror movies and.. Ieeekkkk, I remember playing Resident Evil for the first time. OMG.... (I know, I know, I'm a wimp). Now Universal Studios Japan worked together with Capcom to create a new attraction. Too scary to enter, but too cool to join. A real-life simulator: Resident Evil: the Real.

Nope, it's not like you're entering a building and just have to see zombies. No, just like the game, you will get your own replica gun and a limited supply of ammo. Now you have to survive, kill zombies and other scary creatures in a few minutes. Ieeeeekkk! Of course, the goal is 'to make it to your destination without reaching maximum infection'. Right, a difficult task it seems. Especially when Universal Studios Japan 'claims that the chances of surviving the game without infection are approximately zero percent'..... Ieekkk!

Anyway, Resident Evil: The Real will open on July 19 until September 9 in the Palace Theater in the New York section of Universal Studios Japan. Afterwards from September 12 to November 10 (on Friday to Monday or holidays). Do you think you're the person who will survive Resident Evil: the Real?
