Owls dancing off their heads on hip hop

I'm a bit too early to post the music video of the weekend, but I couldn't wait to show you this mv starring owls!

The short mv is sooooo funny. I've watched it for the fourth time and it's  still... funny! Wildlife photographer Megan Lorenz captured a curious pair of burrowing owls, showing off their head slide moves on the music of Aquadrop with the song Back and Forth. OK, I know, I know, the video promotes a certain camera.  Forget about that! Just check out the owl Dance-Off.

Calling all 80's Kids

My eyes fell on this fabulous clip of Youtuber Shameless Maya. She made a dance off as the character Shana Elmsford of Jem and the Holograms!
Who watched Jem too? I personally loved this cartoon and also The New Archies and Thundercats.. Ok, check out the clip:

In this video Shameless Maya is showing some fierce moves from the eighties. I have to say, the guy is doing a pretty good job too. It kinda makes me wanna watch Madonna clips afterwards ha! How about you?

Well I got more interesting news. Actually I just found out while browsing, that a Jem and the Holograms movie is coming! A real live action!
OMG! Wait, what??! How! Where? And most of all, WHO???!??

After some research by yours truly, found out there is a serious filmproject going on. Directed by John M. Chu (G.I. Joe 2, yes that crappy movie with the hot Lee Byung Hun!!). But without Christy Marx on board, the writer of Jem. Now, that's a pity. What do you think about this? Bad move?

Anyways, hit play and enjoy:

Dancing on hits by Big Bang, 2NE1 and of course Psy and many more. You can do that everyday. But what if I say that you can start a contest with your friend at your own place? Huh? Just Dance, Dance Dance... these are Nintendo Wii's dance games. Lovely, dancing on English songs. If you're a K-pop fan, I've got some good news for you. Wii's new dance game is totally K-pop! Dance on 26 K-pop songs with 'The “K-pop Dance Festival”.

Even though it's a Korean version, the developer plans to launch it in Japan, Southeast Asia, America and Europe. Coool!  A Microsoft Kinect version will also be developed. Nice!

So let's all dance or I mean compete by dancing on Fantastic Baby, Roly Poly, I don't care, Mister and Gangnam Style!

Become McDonald's crewmember after seeing dance video

OK, to be honest I'm not a big fan of the McDonald's (well, I do love the prawn tempura mmmm). But you have to see this video. It's a McDonald's dance video!

Crewmembers of McDonald's Japan will all get new uniforms this summer. And they've already introduced these new uniforms in the dance video. Well, actually the video is also made to show how much fun it is to work at the McD. So you'll see crewmembers do their jobs, while dancing and having fun.

Hmmm, I wish the crewmembers where like that in real life (in our country).... Anyway, are you excited to apply for a job after seeing this video?

Bust a Move: Learn K-pop dance moves!

Some think I'm too old for this stuff, but yes, I still dance on K-pop in front of my mirror (and try to sing..ahum...along). Unfortunately I have to rewind a music video about twenty times, to get all the dance moves right.

Now there's a TV show 'Bust a Move', aired on Pops in Seoul at Arirang TV. This show teaches you the short pieces of choreography of some K-pop video clips. It's in English, has English subs and some English comments! And it's easily explained. No need to rewind it twenty times! I've just watched the episode with the choreography of INFINITE's "Be Mine". Enough talking! Let's dance!

Earn Coke: dance in front of vending machine

The better you dance, the more Coca Cola you get...from a vending machine! Yes, Coca Cola (Korea) came up with something new. They have a new way of advertising. They've designed a new vending machine to "provide you energizing refreshment".

So what did they do? They've put this special vending machine in a mall or cinema (I guess). The machine has some cameras or movement sensors. Once you're in front of the machine, a screen pops up. OK. But here comes the fun part.

Now you have to dance in front of the screen, or well, to be more precisely, you have to mimic the dance moves of the guys of 2PM on screen (2PM is a Korean boygroup). The better you are, the more Coke you'll get.

Funny! If you've already tried to dance in front of this vending machine, then let us know how many bottles you've earned.

La preuve par 4: killin' dance moves on stage

Came across this cool vid of French hiphop dancegroup 'La preuve par 4'. Their choreo is sick! No, it's not a Jabbawockeez thing ripoff (like my first thought before seeing the video *teehee*). Check it:

WORLD ORDER in NY (synchronized dancing)

Maybe you've already discovered them. The group of Japanese businessmen who are dancing synchronized: WORLD ORDER. Genki Sudo, a member of the group, also known as martial artist and kickboxer (K1 and UFC's), writes the lyrics and does the choreography.

Last time they went to New York to shoot the video. I hope they'll shoot a video here in the Netherlands, someday. That'll be fun. Filming in front of the Queen's palace, or at a crowded Museumplein in Amsterdam or just in some random street surrounded by some crazy Dutch people..

Check out the video of WORLD ORDER, here at Jumi!

Zulu Nasty reel

Is it the name of the dancer? Zulu Nasty. This is one awesome reel she has. The images fits perfect with the music (XXXO by M.I.A.). Love the camerawork. And her dancingstyle is hypnotic. Hopefully it will get her a new job in dancing. Go Zulu Nasty!!
