Turn into animal, wear beauty character mask

It's been a week since we left foodheaven Seoul T_T and I already regret that I didn't buy more desserts... and facemasks of The Face Shop T_T.

No, I'm not really into trying all sorts of beautystuff for the face, because of my sensitive skin. And masks.. uhh nope, maybe five times a year. But in Seoul I couldn't ignore all the stores selling facemasks. And then I saw this: Character masks of The Face Shop!

Yup, these are face sheets with the print of an animal face. So coool that I had to try it with little Jumi! So, how was it? Sooo nice. My sensitive skin didn't react stupid. No itchiness, no burning sensation, no pimples and mushrooms popping up, nothing! Just a nice fresh feeling as if my face dived into a clean ocean at a small uninhabited island. After removing the mask (no need to wash my face afterwards), my skin still felt refreshed and moistured. Totally love it! Next time I set foot on Seoul, I'll buy bags, luggages and boxes full of Character masks.

And little Jumi? She felt totally reborn afterwards. Her skin looks really refreshed huh.

Dry your tears with Hello Kitty tissues

I was (and still am) sooo sad when I heard that my precious K-drama actor Lee Min Ho has a girlfriend. Noooooooooooooooo! Weeeeeh! Boehoehhh! Dear little Jumi comforted me and gave me a little present, or well a lot of Hello Kitty tissues. Aw how sweet...

Yup, they are back again, to wipe your sad tears (and snot). This time with two new versions. The first package of ten has a 'Hello Kitty into mathematics' theme. The other package has a 'where the Hell is Hello Kitty' theme.

So now I have 20 packages of tissues. Nice! I think I have enough tissues to wipe my tears and snot.

Pop Cult: a girlie game merch store in Amsterdam

We went to Amsterdam for a shoppingday! Or well, Forever 21 day! Soo excited, but ended up dissappointed. The collection was hmpff, not our cup of tea. Flowers here and there. And crop tops that are sooo in, but soooo tiny that I have to wear an xxxxxxl to fit in these tops..... But we didn't leave Amsterdam disappointed because we've discovered a new cool store: Pop Cult.

Yup, this is the store for gamer girlies and Domo-kun lovers! Tired of seeing cool shirts of Yoshi, Domo or Star Trek... but for boys? Don't be tired anymore, because we've seen many (long) tanktops and shirts (no miniature crop tops) for girls here. Shirts of Domo, Super Mario characters, Star Trek, pyjamas and merch for your phone. OK, of course they have stuff for boys too, shirts, caps. So a good excuse to drag your boyfriend to Amsterdam for a shoppingday.

So after the dissappointed pain we've had because of Forever 21, we eventually ended up with a smile leaving our shoppingday in Amsterdam.

Korean drama scores Jimmy Choo craze

Remember our latest Dorama tip My Love from the Star?
Do you also loooove the Jimmy Choo heels the girl was wearing in the series? If you want to have these beauties... get in line.

This Korean drama was not only popular in Korea but also in China. And not only because of the funny story itself, but because of these fabulous shoes the main character (played by Gianna Jun) is wearing!

The anthracite Jimmy Choo "Abel" heels of about $600 got sold out super fast in China and then the rest of Asia. Therefor the complete European stock has been sent to Asia. According to a newsitem of the Dutch newspaper de Telegraaf, the heels are then completely sold out. It will take 4 months to stock up extra because the shoes of Jimmy Choo are handmade. Wowzers! Would you wait 4 months for these shoes? Or am I asking the wrong question <.<

On the other hand, because of this shoe craze, this is the first time a Korean drama is featured in a newsitem of a Dutch newspaper! Yay! Although the item is in Dutch with lots of grammar mistakes, you can enjoy some funny scenes of Gianna Jun and Kim Soo-hyun again :)

All the lipsticks of Cheon Song Yi in My Love from the Star!

Also one of the lipsticks Gianna is wearing in this drama as her character Cheon Song Yi, the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture - no52 Rosy Coral is sold out worldwide because of the show. We tried and the website of Yves Saint Laurent puts you on a waitinglist when you order it. Only chances to get this color now is from Ebay for about $70 or a cheap knock off, of which I am dying to hear your alternatives! 

And if you have seen the drama, it's funny to know that chicken and beer is now a very popular dish in China. Ha!

Yup, little Jumi did some shopping at the Kruidvat because she needed some new tissues. And she came back with a happy smile, because she found Hello Kitty tissues again. A pack of ten tissues still costs €1,69.

Last spring, when some of us had hayfever, Hello Kitty was there, to wipe our snot. And now, well, it seems that she really cares, she's back! Don't we all suffer from autumn snot? Hello Kitty wipes it, again!

Yup, Hello Kitty is back at our Dutch drugstore Kruidvat. Now she offers tissues in boxes. I've found two boxes. One box is for the girlie Hello Kitty friends. It's pink and there's an image of Hello Kitty in a tutu. The other box is less girlie, with Hello Kitty and apples.

There are 56 tissues in a box. All tissues have the same pink print. One tissue box is €1,69. Yes Hello Kitty, please wipe my autumn snot!

Hello Kitty in Breaking Bad

Yup, it really is true. Hello Kitty really wanted to be part of the succesful series Breaking Bad. The kitty appeared in the 11th episode of the final season!

OK, well her image. She appeared as an image of a cellphone. How cool is that.

World's biggest Hello Kitty store opens in Turkey

Good news for Hello Kitty fans. The world's biggest Hello Kitty store, Hello Kitty World, opens this month. Where? Guess....No, no, not in Japan, South Korea or another Asian country. Nope, shoppingheaven is opening in Atasehir, Istanbul (Turkey)!

Besides the fact that this is the biggest Hello Kitty store ever, it will also be the brand’s first concept store. With big, I mean really reaaally big. It's 3000 square meter, so you can get everything (almost I think). From motorcycles (sure why not buying a motorcycle) to fashionstuff and beddings and soooo much more... *drool* Anyway, Hello Kitty World will open on May 29th. So, if you're planning to go to this place, please let us know what you think about it. Is it really Hello Kitty heaven?

Zeeman crazy about Hello Kitty candy dispensers

OK, if you're searching for some nice mini-gifts for your Monchhichi or your other sweet plush friend (or for yourself), then maybe you'll like this. And it's not even expensive! Hello Kitty candy dispensers!

Yup, I went to my favorite undie-store Zeeman and I saw two cute dispensers.

Hello Kitty 3D Candy Camera with Phone Strap 

Slide Hello Kitty's head to the left and candy will fall out from the bottom. So what's so 3D about it? Look into the tiny hole at the back and press on the yellow button. You'll see some Hello Kitty pictures. Unfortunately the pictures aren't very sharp, but ahh what do you expect of a camera that's €2,99 worth.

This one is sweeet. Like the camera, this vending machine is filled with tiny candy. Turn the blue handle and candy will fall out from the bottom. And you don't have to put money in it to get some candy! Nice. This one is €2,99 too.

About the candy. Hm. Well..... the dispensers are cheap, so the candy tastes like that. Cheapass light sour candy in purple and white. Yuck! So I recommend you to throw it away and put your own candy in it!  But they look nice, right? (the dispensers)

Guess who's back to wipe your snot: Hello Kitty! Yup, now our Dutch drugstore Kruidvat has a new collection of Hello Kitty packs of tissues! Like the ones of last year, the tissues have the same design as last year. White with a pink print. But the packages are a bit different. Now they're full coloured. She truly loooooves your snot, right? Like last year, a package of ten packs of tissues costs €1,69.

But wait, she loves wiping your snot (and butt in the past).... Hello Kitty also loooves to wipe your mouth clean, or well every- every- eeeverything. Yup, now Kruidvat introduced Hello Kitty Kitchen towel! This is a roll of 150 sheets (of three layers) with Hello Kitty prints. This one cost €1,69 too.

Mimicking mannequin robot: MarionetteBot

Imagine this: your walking down the shoppingstreets at midnight. Just to do some windowshopping. And there you have it. Your favorite dress worn by a mannequin of the store! So you're staring at it. But suddenly it looks like the mannequin is moving. Oh, or is it just your imagination..... or not? It seems like the mannequin really moves. Or worse, it mimics YOUR movements! OMGGG what the..... Witchcraft? Horror?? Ieeeek!!!

OK, do not worry if you're standing in front of United Arrows largest fashionstore in Tokyo. Yup, there they've put worlds first interactive mannequin behind the windows: MarionetteBot.

It seems like she just can't get enough of offering her stuff at Sephora. Yup, I'm talking about Hello Kitty. First she had her own cute pink bow fragrance. Then Kitty put a whole noir collection on the shelves of the store. And now she's back with her new collection: Wild Thing.

This time her products have classy animal prints, with a touch of shimmering gold and silver. Nice! Hmm, I wonder if I can find these products in the Netherlands, because last time I couldn't find anything of her Noir collection....

OK, if I win the lottery next Monday, I'll immediately buy an one-way ticket to Tokyo. Then I'll sleep a few more days till January 10th. Why? Because I need to go to the convenience store Lawson!!! And buy everything, eeeveryting!

No, I'm not crazy. And this new Lawson means a lot to me. Wonder why? Well, one of the Lawsons in Tokyo will open a floor that specializes in Hello Kitty character goods. Snacks, goodies, everything! Cool!

The Hague gets TopShop and Forever 21

This building is a new mall in The Hague that is being build right now, where cheap but the always hysterical madhouse Primark will come with 3 floors and also... this is where the best part comes... TopShop and Forever 21!
Woohoo! So no need for us to travel far for some hip (Hello Kitty?) fashion!
But before that, we have to wait till 2015!

Animated handbag

It started with 3D movies, then 3D TV and now you can even print in 3D, from food and brains to accessories. For those who are getting tired of 3D this and that, a new accessory came into the market: a 2D handbag!

Taiwanese designers Chay Su and Rika Lin created a series of handbags "Jump From Paper". It looks like it's drawn or illustrated on a piece of paper. But don't get tricked by its appearance, because you can really put something in this 'illustrated' handbag. Cute!
